Ola Elmqvist is the new president of FMTE

We are pleased to announce the official legal establishment of Food Manufacturing Technologies Europe (FMTE) and the election of Ola Elmqvist, Executive Vice President Services at Tetra Pak, as the President of the association.

With more than 30 years of leadership across packaging, processing and services at Tetra Pak, Ola brings a deep insight into the food and beverage industry. His experience will support FMTE’s mission to empower the global competitiveness of Europe’s food manufacturing technologies and equipment sector by fostering innovation and enabling resource efficiency.

"As FMTE President, I will focus on three priorities:

Strengthening our industry’s contribution to Europe’s resilience, competitiveness and sustainability

Expanding FMTE’s network by engaging more member companies and associations

Ensuring the policy agenda enables our critical industry to thrive through regulatory simplification and support for scaling technologies that drive resource efficiency
