FMTE calls for a bold, cross-sectoral EU Biotech Act that empowers Europe’s food biotech manufacturing ecosystem. By including food in the EU Biotech Act, streamlining regulatory pathways, and investing in scale-up infrastructure, the EU can unlock sustainable growth, innovation, and global leadership in biotech-enabled food production.
