Vinciane Patelou is the new Director General of FMTE

FMTE is pleased to welcome Vinciane Patelou as its new Director General, succeeding Olivier Janin.

Vinciane brings close to 20 years of EU public affairs experience focused on food and sustainability. She joins from Compassion in World Farming, where she headed the EU office. As a consultant, she was previously Partner for FMCG at DGA (ex-Interel EU) and acted as Secretary General of the European Plant-based Foods Association.

Her expertise sits directly on FMTE’s priority issues: resource efficiency and water resilience ; food innovation and bioprocessing ; and food safety at the intersection between chemicals and environmental policies.

We thank Olivier for his leadership as FMTE's first Director General and for the foundations he leaves in place. Building on them, we look forward to working with Vinciane as FMTE continues to grow.
